Porcelain Veneers — A Complete Smile Transformation in Two Visits
Services provided by an Arizona licensed general dentist.
Chips, gaps, stains, or crooked teeth — veneers fix them all at once. Custom-crafted porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth for a natural, lasting result that changes how you feel every time you smile.
What Are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin shells of medical-grade ceramic bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. Each veneer is custom-designed to match the ideal shape, size, and shade for your face — giving you a natural, symmetrical smile that looks like it was always yours.
Unlike crowns, veneers preserve most of your natural tooth structure. Only a thin layer of enamel is removed to make room for the porcelain, and the result is a conservative yet dramatic improvement.
At Kokopelli Dentistry, Dr. Kaur uses digital impressions with our iTero scanner — no messy molds — to ensure every veneer fits with sub-millimeter precision.

The Veneer Process
Consultation & Smile Design
Dr. Kaur evaluates your teeth and discusses your goals. We take digital scans and photos to design your new smile before any work begins.
Tooth Preparation
A thin layer of enamel (about 0.5mm) is gently removed from the front of each tooth. Digital impressions are taken with our iTero scanner and sent to the lab.
Temporary Veneers
While your custom porcelain veneers are being crafted, temporary veneers protect your prepared teeth so you can eat and smile normally.
Bonding & Final Placement
Your custom veneers are carefully checked for fit, shape, and color, then permanently bonded to your teeth. You walk out with your new smile the same day.
Why Patients Choose Veneers
Natural Appearance
Porcelain mimics the translucency and light-reflecting properties of natural enamel — no one can tell they're veneers.
Stain Resistant
Porcelain resists staining from coffee, tea, and red wine far better than natural enamel or composite bonding.
Long Lasting
With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years or more.
Minimally Invasive
Less tooth structure is removed compared to crowns, preserving more of your natural tooth.
Fast Results
Address multiple cosmetic issues — color, shape, spacing, alignment — in just two appointments.
Digital Precision
Our iTero and Primescan digital scanners ensure a precise fit without uncomfortable impression trays.

Common Questions About Veneers
Do veneers look fake?
Not when done well. Modern porcelain veneers are designed to match the translucency and color variations of natural teeth. Dr. Kaur custom-selects the shade and shape for each patient.
Is the procedure painful?
The preparation is done under local anesthesia, so you won't feel anything during the appointment. Most patients report little to no discomfort afterward.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years or longer. Avoiding habits like biting ice or opening packages with your teeth helps extend their life.
Can I whiten my veneers?
Porcelain doesn't respond to whitening treatments. That's why we match veneer color carefully at placement. If you want whiter teeth overall, we recommend whitening your natural teeth first, then matching veneers to that shade.
How many veneers do I need?
It depends on your goals. Some patients get 2–4 veneers to address specific teeth, while a full smile makeover may involve 8–10 on the upper arch. Dr. Kaur will help you decide during your consultation.
