Sierra Sauer

Sierra is a Dental Assistant who works alongside Dr. Kaur at both our Ahwatukee and Chandler offices. She grew up in Bayard, a small town in western Nebraska, and she brings that small-town warmth into every operatory: she wants everyone who walks through the door to feel welcomed, comfortable, and in good hands.

Her path into dentistry started in the orthodontist's chair. Going through braces herself, Sierra had such a positive experience with her orthodontic team that she could picture doing the same work one day. It showed her how much a dental team can shape someone's confidence, not just their smile.

After graduating from Bayard High School in 2019, Sierra earned her Associate's Degree in Health Sciences from Chadron State College in 2021, then completed a dental assisting program through MedCerts. In 2022 she passed her DANB examinations in Radiation Health and Safety and in Anatomy, Morphology, and Physiology.

Over three years in dentistry, Sierra has assisted in general dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and orthodontic treatment. Each setting has made her more confident chairside, and she loves that there is always something new to learn.

What Sierra loves most about dentistry is the people. She describes her approach as warm, attentive, and patient, and she especially enjoys helping nervous patients settle in and feel at ease. Getting to know patients and being part of a team that works together to provide great care is what makes the job for her.
