Dr. Kaur's decision to pursue dentistry was spurred on by a traumatic event. When she was just ten years old, her grandparents were in a fatal car accident. The only one to survive was her grandmother, who suffered great injuries including a broken jaw.
Her grandmother was forced to have her jaw wired shut for over six months. The young Harveer watched helplessly as her grandmother couldn't eat and couldn't smile. Though she missed her grandmother's smile tremendously, it was watching her grandmother suffer which was hardest to take. This experience ignited a passion for her to help others with their dental needs.
It's that passion along with the belief that her purpose is to improve people's lives that bring her to work each day with a positive attitude.
This practice has a long history in Ahwatukee and was under corporate management with a rotating staff of dentists until it was purchased by Dr. Harveer Kaur in June 2017. We then expanded, opening up an office in Chandler. Thank you to the communities of Ahwatukee and Chandler for the warm, positive welcome you have given us!
Dr. Kaur takes a conservative but comprehensive approach to dentistry. She will never pull a tooth that can be saved, never recommend a treatment you don't need, and never rush you out the door. But conservative doesn't mean incomplete — she looks at the full picture of your oral health so nothing gets missed.
She believes you deserve to understand every option before making a decision — and she'll take as long as it takes to explain. While some dentists stopped learning after dental school, Dr. Kaur invests hundreds of hours in continuing education every renewal cycle — from advanced implant training to the latest in cosmetic techniques.
