What We Cover
Every patient's needs are different. We tailor our guidance to your age, risk factors, and daily routine.
Brushing Technique
We demonstrate the modified Bass technique and angle guidance to ensure you're cleaning effectively along the gumline.
Flossing Guidance
Traditional floss, floss picks, or water flossers. We'll find the method that works for your dexterity and lifestyle.
Kids Coaching
Our hygienists make oral hygiene fun for kids with hands-on demos, disclosing tablets, and age-appropriate tips.
Electric vs. Manual
Not sure which is better for you? We'll review the pros and cons and recommend the right brush for your needs.
Nutrition Counseling
What you eat affects your teeth. We discuss how sugars, acids, and snacking frequency impact cavity risk.
Home Care Products
From prescription toothpastes to interdental brushes, we recommend products tailored to your specific oral health needs.
Daily Care Essentials
Brush twice a day for at least two minutes with a soft-bristled brush and fluoride toothpaste. Angle bristles 45 degrees toward the gumline.
Floss once daily. Wrap the floss in a C-shape around each tooth and slide beneath the gumline. Water flossers are a great alternative if traditional floss is difficult.
Limit sugary snacks and acidic drinks between meals. When you do indulge, rinse with water afterward rather than brushing immediately.
Replace your toothbrush or brush head every three months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed. A worn brush cleans far less effectively.
At your next visit, bring any questions about products or techniques. Our hygienists are happy to spend time getting your home care dialed in.
