This post is a plain description of what it is like to be a patient here, so you can decide whether it is a fit before you pick up the phone.
Where we are and when we are open
The office is on Riggs Road. We are open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7 AM to 3 PM, and closed Thursday through Sunday.
Three days a week is a real limitation and I would rather say so than have you find out at a bad moment. The upside is that early mornings are easy to get, and for anything urgent on a Thursday or Friday our Ahwatukee office on Chandler Boulevard is open. Who you will see
I am Dr. Harveer Kaur, and I am the dentist at the Chandler office. I trained at Punjab Government Dental College in India and at Loma Linda University in California, and I practice what I call conservative but comprehensive dentistry. Conservative means I will not pull a tooth that can be saved or recommend work you do not need. Comprehensive means I look at the whole mouth, so nothing gets missed because it was not bothering you yet.
Our hygienist in Chandler is Alma, who does the cleanings and is usually the first person you spend time with. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. You can meet the rest of the team on our Chandler team page.
Insurance, including Medicare Advantage
Many of our Chandler patients are on Medicare, and dental coverage under Medicare Advantage plans is one of the most confusing things we help people with. The short version: the Chandler office is in-network with Aetna, Humana, and Delta Dental Medicare Advantage dental plans through direct contracts. We are also in-network with most major PPO plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna DPPO, MetLife PDP Plus, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Guardian, Principal, United Concordia, United Healthcare, and Ameritas.

If you do not have dental insurance
Our new patient visit in Chandler is $59 for patients without insurance and includes the exam, X-rays, and a regular cleaning when appropriate. Deep cleaning has a separate fee; visits may be split for scheduling. For ongoing care without insurance, the Chandler office has an in-house membership plan at $199 a year plus a $79 activation fee that covers three exams, two cleanings, fluoride, X-rays, and 20 percent off other treatment. That plan is only for people without dental insurance and is not insurance. Ask our team to confirm enrollment and renewal terms.
What we do here
The Chandler office handles general and family dentistry, including cleanings, fillings, crowns, and gum treatment. We also do the things that come up more often later in life: dental implants to replace missing teeth, dentures, and oral appliances for snoring and sleep apnea for people who cannot tolerate a CPAP. For cosmetic work, we offer ClearCorrect clear aligners and teeth whitening.
When something is outside what we should be doing in a general office, I say so and refer you to a specialist I trust.
What a first visit looks like
You will get a full exam, the X-rays we need, and a cleaning if your gums are ready for a regular one. I go over the X-rays with you on the screen and explain anything I find, including the option of doing nothing yet when that is reasonable. If treatment is needed, you leave with a written plan and an estimate that shows your insurance's expected share. Nothing gets scheduled until you say go.
